China Charles is the Founder and CEO of KENORA Coaching & Consulting, a professional coaching and consulting organization dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and advancing workforce development through strategy, mentorship, education, and growth.

As a first-generation American of Jamaican descent, China’s journey has been shaped by perseverance, resilience, and a commitment to creating opportunities for others. Those values continue to guide both personal and professional efforts and serve as the foundation of KENORA’s mission.

China is an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran with 10 years of service. Military experience provided a foundation built on leadership, accountability, adaptability, and teamwork under pressure. Those lessons continue to influence the way KENORA serves individuals, organizations, and communities through purpose-driven leadership and strategic support.

China is also a returning citizen who personally experienced incarceration at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia. Rather than allowing that experience to define the future, it became the catalyst for transformation and purpose. This lived experience provides a perspective that cannot be taught through traditional credentials alone and allows KENORA to connect authentically with individuals facing barriers and navigating difficult transitions.

China brings a perspective that is both deeply human and strategically driven. That unique combination allows KENORA to meet individuals where they are while helping them move forward with purpose, confidence, and opportunity.
